Call Forwarding Guides for Every Carrier

To use Call IQ, you have three options: port your number (free, takes 5โ€“10 days), get a new number (instant), or forward calls from your existing carrier (5โ€“15 minutes). This guide covers the third option.

RingCentral

  1. Log in to your RingCentral admin portal
  2. Go to Phone System โ†’ Extensions โ†’ select your user
  3. Click Call Handling & Forwarding
  4. Add a new forwarding number: +1 (YOUR_CALL_IQ_NUMBER)
  5. Set sequence: Ring your desk phone first, then forward to Call IQ after 15 seconds
  6. Save changes
  7. Test by calling your RingCentral number

Nextiva

  1. Log in to Nextiva admin portal
  2. Go to Users โ†’ select your extension
  3. Click Call Forwarding
  4. Enable "Always forward" or "Forward when unanswered"
  5. Enter your Call IQ number
  6. Set ring time before forward (recommended: 15โ€“20 seconds)
  7. Save

Vonage Business

  1. Log in to Vonage admin portal
  2. Go to Extensions โ†’ select your number
  3. Click Call Forwarding tab
  4. Enable "Forward calls to another number"
  5. Enter your Call IQ number
  6. Choose forward condition: Always or When unanswered
  7. Save

Regular Cell Phone (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile)

Activate: Dial *72 + Call IQ number

Cancel: Dial *73

AT&T

Activate: Dial *21* + Call IQ number + #
Example: *21*18881234567#
Cancel: Dial #21#

T-Mobile

Activate: Dial **21* + Call IQ number + #
Example: **21*18881234567#
Cancel: Dial ##21#

Google Voice

  1. Open Google Voice settings
  2. Go to Calls โ†’ Incoming calls
  3. Add your Call IQ number as a forwarding phone
  4. Enable forwarding for "All calls" or "Unanswered calls"
  5. Save
